Desiree Harrison-Brown
Desiree Harrison-Brown is founder of Wino Noire and educator at the Napa Valley Wine Academy. Harrison-Brown, a Baltimore native, holds a bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Maryland, College Park. In 2017, she departed from her corporate project management career to follow her passion for wine education. Desiree founded WINO NOIRE, a platform and community promoting diversity in wine. She also created The Wino Shop, an online retailer of wine apparel and accessories for the modern wine lover. Desiree has been featured on the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Blog, The Strategist, and was recognized on the 2022 Future40 list by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. She is a wine instructor at the Napa Valley Wine Academy and has developed a course called Wine Basics: From Grape to Glass with Stanford University’s Continuing Studies Program.
