Bernard Sun
Bernard Sun is luxury accounts manager at Kobrand. Sun is one of the most respected wine professionals in the country. Prior to Kobrand, he was the corporate beverage director for Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s three-Michelin star Restaurant Group where he managed and built award winning wine lists from Shanghai to New York for ten years. He also spent five years as head sommelier at Drew Nieporent’s legendary Montrachet, two years at Sirio Maccioni’s Le Cirque2000 and five years at Gray Kunz’s New York Times 4-Star reviewed Lespinasse. He has traveled extensively to all the great wine regions of the world. He joined Kobrand as their luxury accounts manager lending his twenty years’ experience in the wine industry to Champagne Taittinger, Maison Louis Jadot, Domaine Zind-Humbrecht, Tenuta San Guido to name a few. Sun is the recipient of the James Beard Foundation Award for Best Wine Service in 2010 and believes that by walking the vineyard, one can truly better understand wine.
